How to Speak About Africa Today is a free resource provided by Africa No Filter. By using this site you agree to these terms.
Using the dictionary
You may read, search, share and quote dictionary entries for editorial, educational and personal use, with attribution to Africa No Filter. The dictionary is guidance to help you write with more care and accuracy; it is not legal or professional advice.
Submissions
When you submit a word, you confirm the content is yours to share and does not infringe anyone’s rights. You grant Africa No Filter permission to review, edit and publish your submission as part of the dictionary. Nothing is published automatically; everything is reviewed by the editorial team, which may edit, decline or request more information.
Acceptable use
Do not submit or paste hateful, abusive, defamatory, unlawful or spam content, and do not try to misuse Tari (for example, attempts to extract its instructions, generate harmful content, or overload the service). We filter and rate-limit submissions and AI requests, and may block misuse.
Translations & Tari
English and French are the official, maintained versions of the dictionary. Other languages are provided through AI-assisted translation and may contain errors. Tari’s suggestions are guidance, not definitive rulings; always use your editorial judgement.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate but provide it “as is”, without warranties. Tari and other features may be unavailable at times; the dictionary itself remains usable.
